We had a lot of fun

This scares me. She turned her hat side ways just so she could look like her dad. Oh how I love my Chucky Jr. And she gets so mad when I call her that. Just the looks on her face gives it away. What am I going to do with her? Everthing is more fun when its free. We plan on going a few more times this month and next to take advantage of the free admission for those who live in kcmo. Sorry for the 2 blogs about this one, I had problems posting my pictures for some reason. We did have a lot of fun. Because it was free and we know we can go back for free we took are time and really enjoyed it. We will see everything else next time. Its amazing how we go several times a year but we never get tired of going.

The Zoo

We took a lot of pictures at the Zoo this time. Here she is calling everyone in for dinner
Not sure what she is thinking about...

Cheese....
Ican't believe thee camel cost 3 dollars for one go around

She thought Black swans were make-believe

Her Grandpa would be proud, we wont tell him that she only stayed on for about 1 minute...

The Parade

Star Wars was the best part of the parade. I might go out on a limb here and say one of the few only good parts of the parade. We have had a lot more fun in past years, but it was still nice to get out and keep up our tradition. If nothing else it was a good excuse for another cherry limade!!

This is the Liberty Robotics float.
There is also pictures of Brandon on his float, but I am sending them to Jodi for her to share.

Why Did I Buy Her A New Bed?

Does anyone seen anything wrong with this picture?

Like why there is no kid in it. Where are the Hello Kitty pillows and comforter I spent a small fortune on.

This is my bed. Notice that is not me.

I guess at least the stuffed animals have a place of their own!! I sure don't!!

Red Barn Farm

Brianna went on her first field trip of the year on Friday. Her and her class went to the Red Barn Farm in Weston, MO. How I wish I could have gone with them. They got tours of the farm and got to pick three apples each (out of a bucket) to take home. I had to leave work early to go be with Brianna after the field trip was over because she got hurt (imagine that). I thought she fell, but she pinched it in the window. She was beside herself and wanted her mommy. When I got her, she was better. I really thought she was going to take a nap, but she never feel asleep. I am glad they all had fun. Finally I found a good school for my daughter, that is a really good feeling. Maybe next time I will be able to go on the field trip with her. I knew I could not go with as much work as I have missed with every body being so sick. She is just sooo big and gorwn up, I am not ready for her to not need me!

Back to School

I have not been on blogspot all summer. It was a long summer. Brianna was gone for most of it, and I was in anatomy and physiology which took all of my time. We are back to school now, and having an actual routine is GREAT! My baby girl started school at an actual preschool. I am so happy for her, and she is doing great. She really needed the structure in her day. I on the other hand was very emotional packing her lunch for the first time. She successfully completed her first week and we are both very pleased with her experiences so far.

I am so glad to see everyone having a great summer.

I look at all of the blogs and see families having a great time with their children. It makes me happy. I miss Brianna so much. This is comming up on the end of the third week she is with her dad. She will not be home for another 3 weeks. She might want to come home early, she keeps telling me how much she misses me and she wants to come home in the morning. If I thought she was not having fun I would jump on the next plane and go get her, but she is having a blast.

She is with her grandma during the day when her dad is at work. This week her grandpa was on vacation and they took her to several really fun places. I am in a very fast paced Anatony and Physiology 8 week class that is taking up all of my time. Between work, class, and studying I am at school from 8:30 to 7:30 everyday and then continue to study late into the night. I had to go to court this week to get my divorce over with. I am so thankful for my friends and family that have been so patient with me during this not so fun last month.

The only thing I have enjoyed about my daughter being gone is the wonderful phone conversations we have had a chance to have. I have really had a chance to enjoy her stories (which are out there) and actually talk to her. No dicipline, stress, racing to get dinner, bath, books, and in bed everynight. Just nice relaxing conversations. But I would take the stress everyday for the rest of my life with great pleasure not to have to be away from her like this.

I cant wait until this class is over and my baby girl is home. Will have wonderful pictures to share then!!

What a Weekend

This weekend was very eventfull. After my trip to the zoo I threw my back out. I have been in a ton of pain. I am so used to the pain that I find a way to manage it. It hurts no matter what I am doing so I might as well be having fun. Saturday morning Jodi Brianna Faith and I went to the square and had a lot of fun. We ate way to much not so healthy food, but it all tasted great! The kids were very well behaved and had a blast just being pushed around and eating junk. They got to play a few games and even got to ride pony's for free. Then on Sunday we went to the movies and saw Horton Hears a Who where once again we ate way to much junk food but had a ton of fun. Thank you for the treat Jodi.
